Lynette then went on to work for a Formula 1 company (another passion!) and again travelling the world following the rich and famous. On one of the trips she met some of the richest people in the world and realised that even people that don’t have to worry about money always like to have a bargain and love being around people that don’t treat you any different just because you have money. The contacts list grew and grew.
Tragedy hit the family when Lynette and her husband Wes baby daughter Elenor sadly passed away in 2005 aged 4 days old, she took the moto in life that tomorrow may be your last day so followed her dream (wedding dresses and shoes!!!) Naming the shop after Elenor was the easiest decision as someone somewhere would say my daughters name every day and that is something to be proud of.
On opening the shop Lynette has gone from strength to strength with support of her husband , parents and children winning an award in 2014 for outstanding customer service for a new business and then in 2015 for outstanding bridal shop in Yorkshire.
Lynette treats all her brides as friends and will always do all she can to help in anyway even helping her brides plan their weddings and when you have an appointment with her you will instantly become her friend that you will feel so comfortable around.
Sue (Lynettes mum and the best Saturday girl in Yorkshire)
Sue is a diamond, so precious and you will find no other lady like this supermum!
I could have never followed my dream without my mum. If you have a weekend appointment Sue will make all the brews, she is the lady that just knows who suits what and normally picks out the one within about 5 minutes of talking with you (I learnt her that!), another one who has worked all her life putting everyone else 1st .
Weekends just aren’t the same when she is on holiday etc and I get brides asking where is Sue?
Very professional, very honest and if you look amazing in a gown she cries! not many mums and daughters get to work together but I’m one of the lucky ones that gets to work with my mum and we have a special bond that all can see when they visit us, she will make you feel like apart of our family as that’s what you become when you say “Yes” to the dress at Elenor Rose.
Carol and Alaina (seamstresses)
With 20 years of experience at between them at very high end bridal boutiques, Alaina and Carol have worked on some of the biggest names in bridal and these ladies will be your fairy godmother in making your gown perfect your special day.
Alaina and Carol both work on site at the boutique so again unlike some other boutiques all work and appointments are all under one roof.
Ellesse (Lynette’s daughter and the tech-queen!)
